Rape Counselors of East Alabama is excited to announce that we will be opening a new community outreach center called the Bridges at the Mitchell House. This building will serve as a safe space for survivors of sexual assault, and it will include a private SANE room, exercise equipment, art supplies, and musical instruments. It is our hope that the addition of a private SANE room will eliminate some of the fears that come along with the process of a rape kit and encourage more survivors to receive one.
